The Key to understanding the importance of this project is understanding Fred and his work with the orphans of Mombin Crochu. This isn't chicken going to american fast food restaraunts, this is real need.

There were children in the bushes, kids in the street, wandering, lost, and not in school.  Fred Charley Delauries is a pastor in Mombin Crochu, Haiti, and he didn’t understand why these children had nowhere to go.  Soon he discovered many of them did not have food to eat, a change of clothes, and some were without parents; yet all of them did not have the money to enroll in school.

Fred’s solution was to provide it for them, some way, some how… with faith, God’s Way and God’s How.  He and his father are pastors of a church in this small mountain village serving the community in so many ways, and now one more.  Their house is small, basic, and humble; made of straw, tree branches, and mud. It is the church, school, and now also orphanage.  On Sundays, the people of the village come to sing praise songs and be led in worship. Monday through Friday, the children come to be given an education and one square nutritious meal.  Most of all, Fred and his family are serving God and providing Hope.
