What's Happening Now
Currently we have our first research team enroute to Haiti and soon they will be on the ground setting the parameters for the actual project. Our chief engineer, Larry, Left today, Feb. 9, and will meet Dennis who arrives in country today. Dennis is there promarily for reasons apart from our project and will be helping pastor Fred in some other ministry areas. Larry will be putting eyes and feet on the property to determine the actual layout and hopefully get some of the initial digging for the digester trench done. While he is there he hopes to set the church up with a dozen layers in a temporary home and also plant some seeds in a garden area. This will supply some tangible assets for the people there and keep the idea of chickens fresh in their minds. Our goal for the project start is still 5-6 months out, though we hope to install the well sooner than that. Once Larry has a report on his trip we will be adding it here and sending it out via the newsletter. Stay tuned and pray!
